DESCRIPTION
The UPS1000 is designed to provide backup AC power to equipment and assist in avoiding major breakdowns. The UPS1000 is simply clipped onto the DIN rail and connections made on the removable plugin connectors. The same applies to the battery box, this is equipped with the same quick release DIN rail clip and plugs into the UPS1000 by means of a plug connector. The standby battery is automatically charged via the UPS1000 and maintained in standby mode ready for backup if needed. A modified computer grade wave form at 240Vac 50hz is supplied during a backup period. The internal AVR maintains a constant voltage during normal AC mains operation.

		TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
		Computerised equipment, process controllers, security systems, traffic lights, control systems, telemetry, remote areas with erratic AC mains supply. Also industrial plants where some equipment must run without interruption. It is important to note the unit is ideal for marine use providing backup during change over from shore to on board supply and vice versa.
